AUCKLAND FUNERAL PHOTOGRAPHER

Why Funeral Photography?

YOUR EXQUISITE WITNESS

An Exquisite Witness is simply a person willing to hold space for someone else’s grief.

When everyone is grieving this can be a well meaning role difficult to fulfil thus, leaving the bereaved very much alone and overwhelmed.

Funeral photos are your Exquisite Witness.

A non-judgmental record of intently felt emotion, waiting patiently until the person grieving is ready, sometimes, long after the funeral.

Because funeral photos record moments and can be looked at individually, they help make grief bearable and not overwhelming.

The photos can be shared and in doing so, allow others to support the bereaved.

Grief can be blinding.  A photographer can be your eyes, their images; your

Exquisite Witness.

DURING

No flash photography is used and we aim to photograph guests in candid moments, avoiding posing.

A LITTLE ABOUT US

Myself and Jen are both Family and Wedding Photographers in Auckland.

Combined, we have over 20 years experience in collecting precious moments for families, from beginning to eternity.

Our approach to Funeral + Memorial photography is simply to capture the farewelling of loved ones from a different perspective, to be reflected upon when families are ready.

We believe that the conclusion to one’s life is as important to remember as the beginning.
